Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with us. Because every item is made to order and personalized just for you, please read this policy carefully. Placing an order means you accept the terms below.

Order Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or change your order, email us at support@madejustforyou.net with your order number as soon as possible. You may cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of purchase, and a cancellation fee of 20% of your order total applies to any cancellation. After that, your order enters production and can no longer be changed or cancelled. Because items are personalized and made to order, please double-check all details (spelling, photos, options) before you check out.

All Sales Are Final

Because every item is made to order and personalized for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges, and all sales are final. The only exceptions are items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect (see below), and any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law. Gift cards are non-returnable.

Final Sale Items

Products marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance" on their product page are sold as is. They cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded, except where an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, or where a refund is required by law. We label these items clearly before you buy.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us at support@madejustforyou.net within:

  • 7 days of delivery for U.S. orders, and
  • 14 days of delivery for international orders, as delivery times vary.

When you contact us, please include:

  • your order number,
  • clear photos or video of the issue and of the shipping label, and
  • for a print error, a photo of the error (for size or placement issues, include a ruler in the photo).

If your claim is approved, we will send you a free replacement. Replacements are produced within our standard 5-10 business day processing time, plus shipping. If a replacement is not possible, we will refund the affected item, including its shipping cost. You do not need to ship the item back to us.

For issues that do not qualify as defective, damaged, or incorrect, we may offer a partial refund that excludes the original shipping cost.

What Is Not Covered

The replacement and refund options above apply to items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect. They do not cover normal wear or problems that happen after delivery, such as items that have been washed, worn, or used, damage from improper use or accidents, or damage from improper care or storage. Please follow any care instructions included with your product so it stays in the best condition.

International Orders & Customs

For international orders, we are not responsible for packages held, delayed, or seized by customs authorities. Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by their country. If a package is returned to us because duties were unpaid or delivery was refused, we do not refund the original shipping cost.

European Union Customers

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. Under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, this right does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalized. This means personalized and made-to-order items cannot be returned for a change of mind, but non-personalized, ready-made items may be returned within 14 days for a refund. To use this right, contact us at support@madejustforyou.net with your order number. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable EU law.

Color and Print Variations

Please allow up to a 20% variation in color between the images shown online and the item you receive, due to lighting and different screen displays. This is not considered a defect.

Photo Quality

For products printed from a photo you provide, the final result depends on the quality of your image. For the best result, please:

  • Use a clear, high-resolution photo. The higher the resolution, the better it prints.
  • Make sure the subject is well-lit and in focus, and avoid blurry or dark images.
  • Avoid heavily filtered, pixelated, or screenshot images.
  • Leave a little space around the subject so nothing important gets cut off.

If the photo you submit is blurry, low-resolution, or cropped, we cannot be responsible if the finished product does not meet your expectations.

Refunds

Once we approve a claim, we will let you know. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. It may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at support@madejustforyou.net.
